Our Philosophical approach
Training Wheels preschool program is a unique and individualized preschool experience for our young learners. Unlike most preschools, we are not devoted to a specific theory or approach when teaching Early Childhood Education. We believe in the power of play and utilize a combination of Montessori Techniques and Traditional Learning Approaches in our daily lessons. We simply meet the child where they are and nurture their own unique learning style. Our classroom is not segregated into age groups, children of ages 2.5 years to 6 years, and of all physical and intellectual abilities come together to play and learn.
We pride ourselves on keeping our lesson plans play-based, hands-on and adaptive to each child's specific abilities and safety needs, all while introducing pre-kindergarten skills.
Our classroom TEACHERS
Our classroom teachers all have backgrounds teaching Early Childhood Education and value each child's personal growth and development. Joining together from all walks of life as former certified teachers, special education teachers, parents of children with special needs and devoted life-long learners to Early Childhood Education.

Other aspects of our preschool that make us incredibly unique is our strict 3:1 Teacher/Student ratio, daily use and integration of American Sign Language, and a discounted rate for parents/caregivers who want to accompany their child at preschool and become an active part of our classroom.
NEW partnership with Tendrils Therapy
Tendrils Therapy is partnering with us for the 2023/2024 school year!! Pediatric Occupational Therapist Jenny Peet will be assisting our classroom and she will join us on a monthly basis to offer interventions/feedback on how to best support your student. Jenny’s focus will not be the traditional clinical OT approach, instead she will be focusing on how to best encourage participation in activities, life skills and play. Jenny has worked with us in our camps and nature garden programs. We are thrilled she is able to help our preschool students and teachers this year!
Tuition Costs and Schedule:
2023/2024 school year : Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00am to 11:30am
